Construction to start on NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing CenterThe National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and its managing organization, the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), announced today that they will break ground on the construction of a supercomputing center at a ceremony on Tuesday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m.
New Supercomputer for Testing and EvaluationNCAR is acquiring a Cray XT5m Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) supercomputer to be used as a test platform.
