How to subscribe to SCDzine

replaces SCD Computing News and is published on the World Wide Web, where it is always available. Each issue is continuously updated to include timely announcements and news about the NCAR high-performance computing environment.

If you are an NCAR/UCAR user with a valid SCD-assigned login name, you can subscribe to the SCDzine e-mail list (see directions, below) to make sure you don't miss a release or an update. You will be notified when each new issue is published and receive occasional "what's new in the zine" announcements.

If you do not have an SCD-assigned login name, check the SCDzine web site periodically to stay abreast of changes.

Subscribe to announcements of SCDzine updates and notices of new issues by sending e-mail to majordomo@ncar.ucar.edu.

1. Leave the subject blank; it is ignored.
2. In the message body, type:

       subscribe scdzine user
       end
   

   where user is your e-mail address.

3. Terminate your e-mail in the usual way.

Majordomo responds with a success or failure message and includes information about how to unsubscribe.
