"Vortices, eddies, and flows: IMAGe workshop focuses on geophysical turbulence"

Yoshi Kimura from Nagoya University, Japan, and Jean-Marc Chomaz of the Ecole Polytechnique/LadHyX, France, hear a presentation on geophysical turbulence during the IMAGe workshop on coherent structures held at NCAR in July 2005. Kimura and Chomaz co-organized the workshop along with Joe Tribbia of NCAR's Geophysical Turbulence Program.
