UCAR staff at gathering

SCD's Web Engineering Group is releasing a new version of the People Search web service for use in looking up and modifying directory information about staff and visitors at NCAR, UCAR, and UOP.

With this service, you can modify directory information about yourself, and authorized people can modify information about others.

The People Search home page is:

People Search (also known as Web Query/Change, or WEQC) replaces the function of the Email Query/Change (EQC) program. Both methods will be available during a short overlap period, after which the EQC will be disabled and WEQC will be the official method for changing the following information

• Name
• Phone
• Fax
• Forwarding email address
• Spam-block setting
• Web home page

The new version will be available beginning on 3 March 2004.
