UCAR president Rick Anthes
will give a presentation titled "Global weather services in 2025:
A five-year update" on Wednesday, March 3rd at 15:30 in the Center
Green 1 Auditorium. Light refreshments will be served.
Rick originally delivered this multimedia presentation in 1999 as
an optimistic vision of what the weather services would be like in
the year 2025. At the annual meeting of the American Meteorological
Association in January 2004 in Seattle, he presented a five-year update
in which he reviewed the progress toward his original vision
