On 23 June 2003, SCD will install a new version of the BPS submit filter on blackforest. This new version adds additional checks for inconsistent LoadLeveler key word combinations (e.g., invalid #@total_tasks and #@node specifications). It also implements the new BPS/LoadLeveler hold queues. Now, when a job is submitted against a project that is over allocation, it will both be flagged as an H1 or an H2 and also moved into the corresponding hold queue (e.g., csl_hd or com_hd). The job priorities within the hold queues function the same as those of the other blackforest queues. |
