IBM and SCD staff work on AIX/PSSP upgrade |
After a mammoth five-day software upgrade, SCD's blackforest, dave, and NightHawk2 systems, as well as divisional filesystems, were returned to users at 19:00 on Friday, 07 February 2003. SCD software engineers upgraded the blackforest, dave, and NightHawk2 systems to AIX 5.1 and PSSP 3.4. Consequently, blackforest, dave, and babyblue are at the same software level as bluesky. The engineers have tested the upgraded system components, but users may encounter unforeseen problems. Please report these, and any questions, to the SCD consultants at consult1@ucar.edu.
