Babyblue upgraded, blackforest upgrade coming!

Babyblue software was upgraded to AIX 5.1 and PSSP 3.4 on 17 December 2002 to make it match the software on bluesky. The same upgrade is scheduled for blackforest on 3 February 2003. Blackforest users should prepare for about a week of downtime plus some new usage procedures.

Users concerned about the possible impact of the upgrade on their blackforest jobs should try running their jobs on babyblue or bluesky as soon as possible. Please report problems or feedback to consult1@ucar.edu with the subject "user feedback."
