The findsub utility for locating which library or libraries contain a given subroutine or function was removed on 6 November 2002 from both SCD computers where it resides. SCD's Technical Consulting Group will no longer support this utility due to reprioritization of duties.
Users who wish to write a replacement utility may use a directories-loop in the script of their choice, with an appropriate tool for examining archives (e.g., ar) or shared libraries (e.g., nm).
