The decommissioning date for chipeta, the CRAY J924se, has been moved forward to 03 September 2002.
This is necessary because of space requirements and preparation for the installation of the Power 4 IBM system, bluesky. The IBM upgrade is part of the expansion of NCAR's Advanced Research Supercomputing System (ARCS).
