Babyblue LoadLeveler keyword changes required 03 June

Adapter keyword will no longer be supported

Babyblue

The IBM SP babyblue

On 3 June 2002, new LoadLeveler keyword filtering rules will be put in place on babyblue. At that time, the Adapter keyword will no longer be supported.

For example, lines like this

# @ requirements = (Adapter=="hps_user")

should be replaced with

# @ network.MPI = csss,not_shared,us

IBM users are also encouraged to change css0 to csss in their batch scripts. The css0 option will continue to work after the 03 June filtering change, but the csss option is now the preferred method for specifying the switch interface.

These same changes are planned for an 08 July implementation date on blackforest.

If your scripts use other instances of the Adapter keyword, please contact the SCD Consulting Office (303-497-1278, 8-5 MDT) or send email to consult1@ucar.edu for help in making the translation.
