Colleagues from four institutions meet over AccessGrid

The SCD Vislab is a node on the AccessGrid, a framework of network and computing resources developed by the Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation (NSF) to foster geographically distributed scientific research.

Here, Tim Killeen, NCAR director; Don Middleton, SCD Visualization and Enabling Technologies Section manager; and Al Kellie, SCD director, meet virtually with colleages from four other institutions to discuss possible uses of the grid for the atmospheric sciences community.
