The computer you ordered has arrived: Four IBM Regatta-H Turbo frames stand in the back SCD corridor on their way to the NCAR Computer Room.

There were 38 frames—too many to deliver all at once to their final destination. The frames had to be staged in the halls of NCAR, while IBM engineers installed them several at a time in the Computer Room. As each group of frames was installed, space was freed up for additional frames to be moved in.
