After powerup of the first frame, Jan Ranck-Gustafson, lead software engineer from Poughkeepsie, brings up the rest of the bluesky system frame by frame, while IBM engineer Bob Neve looks on.

After a few minor hardware glitches, the system was fully up by 6:30 p.m. that night.
