The NCAR Library has obtained a trial use till June 19 of "Books24x7" referenceware for professionals, which offers full text searchable electronic books in subjects like Python, XML, Sendmail, Java, HTML, and Linux. These frequently updated books are available for NCAR users to inspect over the next two weeks and tell us whether this is a useful tool.

Go to http://library.books24x7.com and click on "find books"; then type words that represent a concept on which you are seeking information. The system will return a list of its books that discuss your topic and indicate exactly where within each online book you can read about it. If this product is useful to you, please let Gayl Gray know at ext. 1183 (gayl@ucar.edu).
