Last of the red-hot Redwoods

Julie Harris and Susan Albertson, computer operators in SCD's Operations and Infrastructure Support Division, make sure all the old StorageTek (STK) Redwood tapes have been removed from a silo in NCAR's Mass Storage System. SCD's Operations and Infrastructure Support Section removed 2,350 STK Redwood tapes from the MSS in mid-September 2001 to make room for newer, more efficient media.
