NSF panel gives SCD the twice over From 16-18 October 2001, the National Science Foundation Review Panel convened with SCD managers, staff, and two members of the NSF Scientific Programs Evaluation Committee (SPEC) panel to conduct a five-year review of SCD. Reviewers saw presentations on SCD services including high-performance computing and networking, mass storage, data analysis and visualization, data stewardship, research, and user support.
