About the SOARS program SOARS® is a four-year program for undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing careers in the atmospheric and related sciences. Proteges undertake ongoing research projects that may result in publishable papers and/or conference presentations, participate in an eight-week scientific writing and communication workshop, participate in seminars with peers and scientists, benefit from long-term mentoring from respected scientists and professionals, and are encouraged to apply to graduate programs. The SOARS website provides details about the proteges and their research topics, as well as current and historical information about this unique program. | |
