Babyblue will be down starting Monday, November 6, at 0800 MST for approximately two weeks for system upgrades and extensive testing.

The system software will be upgraded to a major new release that contains new features including the capability for users to run 64-bit MPI programs. The system will be upgraded and testing at the system level will follow. The system will then be tested by the SCD consulting office and finally, by friendly users.

Depending on how the tests go, the system could be opened up for general access somewhat before or after November 20.
