OOB
Out Of Band. Usually used in practice in phrases like "I need to access the router out of band", meaning not over the network but over a serial line to the console port. Out-of-band access is usually needed when the network is down. See the NETS OOB page.

Out Of Service. One of several card
states that may be reported by a "show equipment" command in an ADVA
RayExpress optical switch.
Optical Supervisory Channel. An OC-3 speed lambda that runs at 1310nm and is used for management (not data) in Movaz RAYexpress wave division multiplex boxes.
OSCLOL
Optical Supervisory Channel Loss Of Light. One of several alarm types that may be reported
