NETS Add Remove Form
All tickets for adding and removing switches, servers, routers and ups systems
can be found in ExtraView using a single form.
Searching for an existing Add Remove ticket with ticket number:
- Log in to ExtraView.
- Enter the ID number in the ID# field at the top of the page
- Hit return
- Click on the edit button to get details or update the ticket.
Searching for an open Add Remove ticket without a ticket number:
- Log into ExtraView
- Click the Query button at the top of the ExtraView home page
- Click on the Run button next to the "NETS: Open Add/Remove Tickets"
report.
- Click on the edit button next to the ticket to view the details
Adding a new Add Remove ticket:
- Log into ExtraView
- Click the Add button at the top of the ExtraView Home Page
- Click on the NETS at the top of the page (this assumes your defaul business
area and project area are Help Desk and NETS Help Desk).
- All fields in red are rquired.
- If a task has been completed or is not applicable, change the status of
the task to Complete or N/A
- Change the Refresh Screen button to Update or Refresh. Note: If you don't
change the status of the Refresh Screen button, the fields will be updated
after you click the close button (bottom of the page).
- Once all tasks for a ticket have been completed, the ticket will close.
- Email will be sent to all staff with open tasks on a ticket every time the
ticket has been updated.
Updating an existing Add Remove ticket:
- Log into ExtraView
- Search for the ticket to be updated (see above)
- For all completed tasks or tasks that are not applicable, change the status
to Complete or N/A.
- Change the Refresh Screen button to Update or Refresh. Note: If you don't
change the status of the Refresh Screen button, the fields will be updated
after you click the close button (bottom of the page).
- Once all tasks for a ticket have been completed, the ticket will close.
- Email will be sent to all staff with open tasks on a ticket every time the
ticket has been updated.
Printing a list of open Add Remove tickets:
- Log into ExtraView
- Click the Query button at the top of the ExtraView home page
- Click on the Run button next to the "NETS: Open Add/Remove Tickets"
report.
- Print the report in landscape mode from your browser.
