Current versions support 320x240, 640x480, 960x720 and 1280x960. (The other resolutions in the list are for OpenGL - the current engine support only integer scale factors.) The problem with that would be performance, but the last few snapshots still run pretty well on "reasonable" hardware - at least the game is playable (IMHO) on a Celeron 333 machine. If you have h/w accelerated OpenGL, that might eventually solve the problem. The current Kobo Deluxe version (I'll upload the pre-release image today) actually has OpenGL support already, but it's more ore less broken, so it's still disabled in the default configuration.
