The new procedure will require a six-digit access code to be entered before a long distance call is connected. The following information applies to placing calls using this procedure from fax machines. Calls placed from a fax machine When using the speaker or handset * Dial number Listen for splash tone (interrupted dial tone) Enter 6 digit code (account key or employee ID) Call is placed (if fax is unable to connect Redial will remember your code) To program a fax machine * Follow procedure to setup speed dialing for your fax machine. Enter 9+1+ Area Code+number Enter pause (most faxes use the Redial button to insert pauses) Enter 6 digit code (account key or employee ID) Store number. **Please note, when faxing to international destinations, you MUST enter # after the telephone number, but before the account code. Please refer to your manual for more information on programing speed dialing.
