NCAR monitors temperature, humidity, etc. in the ML computer
room using a system called DataTrax. The DataTrax console is
in the Mesa Lab computer room in the operations area. It is
connected to various sensors, and sets off an alarm if the
sensors indicate a problem. A lighted pole near the DataTrax
console shows whether the systems is in a normal (green),
warning (yellow) or danger (red) state.
