UCAR provides networking, telecommunication services, and
infrastructure to support the divisions and programs in fulfilling their
missions. The Network Engineering and Telecommunications Section (NETS)
of CISL exclusively maintains the systems. Modifications to these systems
are developed with the guidance of the Network Coordination and
Advisory Board (NCAB), which has representatives from divisions and programs within
the institution. Other individuals or groups may not make additions, modifications,
or deletions to NETS systems; all services must be coordinated through
NETS. Further information about current services, including the definitions
of standard and premium services, is available at the
NCAB web site.
