Infrastructure Support Group

The Mission of the Infrastructure Support Group is to provide service to CISL by maintaining existing systems and planning for future infrastructure needs as they relate to the CISL computer room.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the installation and removal of new equipment in the computer room
Manages the CISL hardware maintenance contracts
Monitors, and manages the physical computer room environment including heating, cooling, humidity, power consumption and equipment location in the computer room.
Manages CISL equipment inventory (excluding network equipment)
Develops software to automate those tasks that can make the group, section and division more efficient
