NCAR's Computational and Information Systems Laboratory (CISL), which contains both the Scientific Computing Division (SCD) and the Institute for Mathematical Applications in the Geosciences (IMAGe), will hold its 2005 User Forum at NCAR on May 17-19, 2005.

On May 17 the forum will begin with a half-day training session on the Earth System Modeling Framework.

Presentations on May 18 and 19 will cover computational resources, cybersecurity, research datasets, data analysis, and visualization, as well as user applications.

SCD will share its new strategic plan and elicit input from forum participants.
