General Information

NCAR utilizes Cisco VPN servers which can be used for access to NCAR from external sites if you already have or can obtain the Cisco VPN client software. Once you have the software installed, the following instructions will help you configure access to NCAR. We can help you setup either a Windows or Mac client for access to the VPN server. We don't currently have instruction for Linux clients available.

You will use your UCAS password to login to the VPN server. You should have received this when you got your account. You will need a password for the VPN configuration. Please send us an email request that includes your phone number and we will call you with the password.
