Security

The UCAR Computer Security Advisory Committee (CSAC) reports to the director of SCD and is chartered to assess the state of computer and network security at UCAR and make recommendations to assist management in setting policies related to the security of computers and other devices attached to the UCAR network.

This committee will work to build consensus within the organization on a security policy that will impact the entire organization and require compliance from SCD and other UCAR entities to implement.
