Purpose
Continue learning about established and emerging technologies that can be implemented with CISL's environment.
Overview
Overall, a very good conference. I thoroughly enjoyed the tutorials and learned a lot from all of them. I was disappointed in the emphasis on virtualization in the technical sessions on one of the days. but otherwise I enjoyed the technical sessions as well.
Reference Materials / Recommendations
Gerald (Jerry) Carter is an excellent teacher. His tutorial on Ethereal/Wireshark was perhaps the best I attended. Aeleen Frisch also led a very good tutorial on automation.

City / Accommodation Comments
Santa Clara is a nice city and the Hyatt is a beautiful hotel. However, I was disappointed that it wasn't more centrally located. Other than Great America, there's not a great deal within walking distance, so your 're pretty much locked into eating at the (overpriced) hotel restaurant unless you have a car.
