Purpose

To network with other security professionals and learn about the latest vulnerabilities and industry practices.

Overview

This is an excellent conference for networking (hallway track) and latest greatest security threats and remediation's.

Reference Materials / Recommendations

The sessions contained so much information it was difficult to absorb it all. This group makes the session video available on their web site which we will be downloading as soon as it's online.

City / Accommodation Comments

DC, Wardman Park is great as it's on the red line making getting around the city easy.

On another note, we visited with our IDA vendor in Vienna VA on Friday morning and were given a roadmap of their product for the next few years. They have a path available for upgrading our sensor to if we upgrade our Defense Center. We discussed doing a beta for them on their 10gb product which will be in testing this summer. When discussions get more serious we will involve NETS and the TG networking folks.
