Purpose

Explore / learn new management interface ideas. Network with peers who have the same issue+engagement problems when dealing with security at their organizations.

Overview

The Pragmatic CSO steps offer the best potential method I've found, so far, to manage and communicate/justify security measures, both those taken and those deliberately not taken, for UCAR. While it is a business methodology, ours is the business of doing science as safely
and efficiently as practicable.

I recently attended the Pragmatic CSO Bootcamp (beta test). I've attached to this memo my notes on the presentation and discussion. At the end of the attached notes are copies of the template documents that were provided at the class as PDF files on CD.
