I am the postmaster (e-mail administrator) and USENET news administrator. I am our Domain Name System (DNS) administrator. I also manage the MASnet/Internet Gateway Server (MIGS), which is used by users located here at NCAR/UCAR to access our supercomputing, mass storage, and graphical output resources. I also run the Internet Remote Job Entry (IRJE) system which provides this access to remote users on the Internet using an interface based on FTP.
I also chair the Computer Security Advisory Committee which is tasked with developing and maintaining security measures and policies for UCAR's computing network.
