Setting up the Citrix environment for CDE

  •  For csh/tcsh users, you MUST setup your $PATH and CITRIX_SERVER environment variables in .login (see part 2)
  •  Edit your .dtprofile, and set the variable DTSOURCEPROFILE to 'true':
  • DTSOURCEPROFILE=true
  •  While in .dtprofile, add the following lines:
  • DTSPUSERAPPHOSTS=/opt/CTX.UIS/dt/appconfig
    DTSPUSERDATABASEHOSTS=/opt/CTX.UIS/dt/appconfig
    DTSPUSERICON=/opt/CTX.UIS/dt/appconfig
    DTSPUSERHELP=/opt/CTX.UIS/dt/appconfig
    export DTSPUSERAPPHOSTS DTSPUSERDATABASEHOSTS DTSPUSERICON DTSPUSERHELP
  •   You will have to exit CDE and log back in for the environment change to take effect.
  •   Once back in CDE, open the Application Manager, which should be the first item under Applications in the Workspace menu:

  •
  • When the Application Manager window opens, you should see the Citrix Applications folder:
  •
    You will also have two new items in the Applications submenu of your Front Panel:

    Back in the Application Manager Window, double-click on Citrix Applications:

    From here, you can add the above application icons to the Applications menu of your Front Panel:

    Now you'll have the Citrix Applications available from your Front Panel:
