If you continue to have problems or are uncertain as to what the specific problem
is, you can contact consult1@ucar.edu.
Please provide the following information:
- Nature of the problem: what is occurring and when ?
- "ssh" version on your workstation, with specific client type. Under
OpenSSH, issuing an "ssh -V" command provides the version
number, see section 5.1.
- Diagnostic trace from the login session. Under
OpenSSH, this is provided by "ssh -v", refer to 5.3.
- Place of origin for your connection.
- NCAR host you are trying to connect to.
- Workstation (originating systems) operating system version.
- Any specific error messages displayed.
