Lake and mountains at AnnecyL'Imperial Palace Hotel is located on the north bank of Lac D'Annecy in Annecy, France. Here are some additional views of the hotel and the Salle de l'Europe meeting room.

Annecy is a small town in eastern France. It is a well-known holiday resort, in summer for its lake and surrounding mountains, and in winter for the skiing.

The old town center, along the small river Thiou, is very attractive, with its Thirteenth Century castle, old houses, and covered sidewalks. The town has a large number of hotels, covering a wide range of comfort and prices, and a large number of restaurants, some of which are regarded among the best in France. Annecy is a good starting point for excursions to the French and Swiss Alps. Chamonix and Mont Blanc are roughly 100 km away, Geneva 40 km, and Grenoble 90 km.

Annecy can be easily reached from all major European towns by major highways and it is connected to Paris with the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse). The Geneva international airport is 45 km from Annecy, and the Lyons airport is 140 km from Annecy. In addition, there are domestic flights between Paris and Annecy.
