Exporting WaterML from the Earth System Modeling Framework

Abstract: This project seeks to alleviate the data heterogeneity problem that exists between Earth Science and Hydrologic Science by incorporating WaterML, a widely used community data standard in Hydrologic Science, into ESMF, a project concerning geo-science modeling. Through creating attribute packages in ESMF use cases and well as modifying ESMF XML output function, time series data from geo-science could be accessed by scientists in the hydrologic community.
