Metadata for the Coupled Ocean/Atmosphere Mesoscale Prediction System (COAMPS) using the Earth System Modeling Framework

Abstract: To facilitate interoperability and data sharing in accordance with new national and international standards, model developers use metadata to describe model components and their datasets. In this project, we implement the metadata capabilities provided by the Earth System Modeling Framework (ESMF) with the Coupled Ocean/Atmosphere Mesoscale Prediction System (COAMPS) weather prediction model.
