“Cray X1 Technical Briefing”

Abstract:

  The objectives of this talk are to provide an overview of Cray’s activities in the environmental sciences area and a technical briefing of the Cray X1. The technical briefing will cover Cray X1 hardware, data management strategy, operating system features and applications development environment. X1 benchmark results including portions of the ORNL preliminary evaluation will also be presented.
