Tricks for Performance on SGI Origin Systems"
Abstract:
This
presentation will provide information on methods to improve the performance
of MPI and hybrid MPI/OpenMP codes on SGI systems. A description of how SGI's
MPI library uses shared memory and the methods to activare that feature, usually
with no source code modifications, will be discussed along with techniques
to improve the performance of hybrid applications. A variety of other performance
related tips and tricks useful in weather and climate codes will also be included.
