Thanks to all who made the Charlotte Cray User Group (CUG) meeting a success. Although attendance was lighter than usual, the Applications and Algorithms sessions were well attended.

Now it's on to San Jose. The Applications and Algorithms Special Interest Committee is working with the Silicon Graphics Developers' Program to map out common ground and offer a program of interest to developers on all Silicon Graphics/Cray Research products.

The A&A SIC plans a lively open meeting in which Silicon Graphics/Cray Research management will speak about the direction for applications development and support. Also, if enough applications or algorithm developers are present in San Jose, we will hold at least one Birds of a Feather (BOF) session for developers.

If you are interested in high-performance applications and algorithms, the Silicon Valley CUG is the place to be.

... See you in San Jose!
