This visualization is a single frame from an animation depicting the vertical integration of precipitable moisture from an experimental parallelized version of the NCAR Community Climate Model Version 2 (CCM2) run at T170 resolution (512x256). This high-resolution model was run by Steve Hammond (NCAR/SCD) on the massively parallel 1024-processor CM-5 at Los Alamos National Labs and Don Middleton (NCAR/SCD) developed the visualization.
