Cecelia DeLuca is the manager of the core implementation team for the Earth System Modeling Framework (ESMF) and the Principal Investigator of the Earth System Curator (ESC). She also advises the Community Climate System Model (CCSM) as a Software Engineering Working Group Co-Chair and is the NCAR Project Manager of the ESMF-based Battlespace Environments Institute.
Cecelia's interests lie in the development of large, high-performance software systems and governance models for community software. Her education is a mix of liberal arts (A.L.B. Harvard 1992), engineering (M.S. Boston University 1994), and atmospheric science (M.S. Massachusetts Institute of Technology 1996).
